Did the Cowboys draft a tight end this year?

The Falcons just extended Matt Ryan's contract with a 5 year 150 Million dollar deal with 100 million fully guaranteed.
All I can say is wow....just wow. I truly feel for Green Bay when Aaron Rodgers' extension comes up.

My remote control is a lot safer now at the prospect of a Giants/Cowboys game where Witten doesn't go for 8/100/1 including being wide open on three key third downs. A walk up HOF career and hopefully for us he can live up to the broadcasting template that Romo has laid down.

The fact that there is talk of Jason Witten not being Hall of Fame worthy makes me sick. 2nd all time in catches among tight ends (4th overall) 2nd all time in receiving yards for tight ends (21st overall) and he blocked like he was a left tackle, while most tight ends of his era and most tight ends today couldn't block my wife.
Jason Witten is a slam dunk for the Hall of Fame and anyone who says otherwise is an idiot.

Yeah, of course Jason Witten is a Hall of Famer. No doubt about it.
The Seahawks signed Brandon Marshall. I know everyone has given up on Marshall after that thing that was last season BUT I think it gives Russ another weapon that’s important. He’s big and brings leadership. I’ve always been a closet fan of Brandon Marshall, especially since he came out with his psychiatric issues. I think it’s a good signing and knocks another big name off the free agency list.
We still got Demarco Murray and Dez Bryant. Any thoughts on where they could end up? I hear Murray to Indy a lot so that’s a possibility. I also have started hearing Dez to SF. GB is out of the question since Rodgers doesn’t want him.

Brandon Marshall did nothing with the Giants, so glad we kicked his ass to the curb but feel so bad for Russel Wilson though. Poor guy lost some major weapons on offense and the once feared defense is now in shambles. I just can't see Brandon Marshall adding much to the team that just seems doomed for failure this season.

I wouldn't be at all surprised if he doesn't make the final roster, but if he does, he's never made the playoffs in 12 seasons, so Seattle have that to look forward to.

Wow.
Julian Edelman is facing a 4 game PED ban. They lost Cooks and Amendola. Now they’ll be without Julian for 4 games again. This is the year that the Patriots crumble. It has to be.
Also, I’m going to be starting a pretty cool NFL thread soon. Either today or sometime this weekend so be ready to join in on the fun.

Tom Brady could be throwing to me and you and probably still go 2-2 in those games. I won't expect the Pats to crumble until Brady either gets a serious injury or retires.

Kinda interesting to see some genuinely notable players being popped for PEDs for a change - especially as we kinda know that the majority of players are probably taking something. That's Edelman joining Thomas Davis and Mark Ingram suspended at the start of the season. I also think it's pretty interesting that no one ever seems to have a problem with the leniency of a four game suspension for drugs.
