Yes Christian McCaffrey whose dad was a three time Super Bowl champion definitely had to fight against all odds to make it to the NFL. How did he break down those vicious racial barriers?

In high school football they want black kids as black families often see football as a way out of poverty rather than just a fun hobby, and in turn train and play a lot harder than most white kids who will drop the sport after high school. White kids they only seem to want from poor areas so they can get the same effect outside of the few who just the absolute best.

I’m just telling you it’s worse than “attacking pets”. It’s children. They’re forcing it on our kids screens and brains. It’s against my religion and my wife’s religion. So I don’t find it appropriate or necessary. Nobody told me they changed a character in Beauty and the Beast to gay either. So when they sneak it into children remakes, only so much you can do as a parent. My point is it’s the left doing it. Not the “toxic media”. I think we are talking about two different things. Pop culture including queer people is just representation. You might not like it but they exist in society, it only makes sense for them to appear in movies and tv. But also, and hear me out. The type of representation is important also. Modern Family is a fantastic example. It normalises the gay community. Two of the leads being gay puts a spin on the shenanigans and hijinx they get up to, sure, but all in all it's shows Cam and Mitch as ordinary people. Which most gay people are, ordinary. Hence the acclaim the show has received. There are, and whether you agree or disagree, there are a lot of caricatures and stereotyping on television. Casting the advertly sexual or flamboyant gay man is usually a lot more entertaining than showing an ordinary albeit gay bloke fumbling his way through his ordinary life. Similar, most African Americans are ordinary people. But television and movies project a heighten negative stereotype - gangbanging thugs and over use of ebonics and slang. It's not real, mostly. And it certainly has a impact on the young people watching it who believe it to be real. Sure, race and sexual preference are two entirely different things, but both are victims of negative stereotyping, unknowingly often at the hands of their own creators. So while representation is important, it needs to be the right representation.

Sure, race and sexual preference are two entirely different things, but both are victims of negative stereotyping, unknowingly often at the hands of their own creators. So while representation is important, it needs to be the right representation. Totally agree with this. Representation only matters if presented as more than a stereotype. Token black or gay characters do not help if that is their identity. Same with race swapping IMO, it helps no one really as the outrage tends to outdo any good it does. That said media effects, including priming, are simply artifacts of the measurements used to study them. In the video game work we called them flexible measures, where you alter how you analyze the measures until you get a result that you want. Why no two studies on media effects ever use the same measure as well. Data on what influences actual behavior is very weird as well, and not sure anyone parsed it down fully yet. We found media can help sell stuff to people, but not change overall behavior through consumption beyond very mild effects. Like no straight kid watching all gay media gonna decide that sucking dick seems like something fun to do. You either like the dick or you do not. Outside of rare exceptions people who grow up in the upper middle class and above rarely watch gangbangers and think I am going to go throw down against the rival gangs.

There is obvious racism in sports. Black people aren’t smart enough to be quarterbacks and white people aren’t fast enough to be wide receivers and cornerbacks are obvious examples.
I find it funny that people are worried that their kids seeing gay people in movies and tv shows will become gay. Meanwhile, kids are seeing so many dicks in porn. Everyone on here saw tons of dicks watching porn growing up. Did seeing huge hogs constantly turn you gay? Did you think, “wow I’d also love to slobber on that!” JFC chill out.
Gay and trans people have always been around us, they’ve just been undercover for the most part, because of, you know, being killed. The cat is out of the closet. Accept it, you’ll be happier. I promise bad things won’t happen to you or your family. And if you really, really don’t want to have to deal with it, there are plenty of countries where being gay is illegal and even punishable by death.

Or do not accept it and just be indifferent. All people want is the hate and discrimination to stop. And that should not be too much to ask. No one is demanding you take your kids to drag story hour, they are just asking to not call in bomb threats if a guy in a fairy costume reads to kids. No one saying force your kid to transition, but to allow other people's kids to be able to follow the advice their doctors give them.
I cannot think of anytime a minority was hated in history and we look back at it and go, yup we were so right to discriminate against those fuckers. But each fucking time we treat it like THIS will be the time when we are right.

The whataboutisms are only going to get more and more outrageous to the point we're having 5 different conversations.
There is a big difference between being tolerant and accepting of the gay and/or trans community or any community ( there's even a big difference in tolerance v acceptance ) and not being in favour of sexualized language or discussion and content aimed at children of a certain age. Teenagers, sure. But not without someone consideration first and foremost, and ensuring it aligns with your values - not racist values, but religious and/or traditional values. Some parents, may not think their children are ready for those conversations, and it shouldn't be an institution that makes that decision because it aligns with their views politically or socially.
Common sense.

Where is all this sexualized children's content actually coming from? Where are the sexy trans people reading to kids? The gay sex in children's media? The messages that tell kids they need to be gay or trans? I hear a whole lot of talk about this, but almost no examples.
Regulation of media should be left to the parents as well. Everyone screams about Sharia law while wanting to make Christian law the norm. Everyone is cool with Christian chaplains in public schools but we will see how Florida reacts to Satanic ones in the fall.

There is obvious racism in sports. Black people aren’t smart enough to be quarterbacks and white people aren’t fast enough to be wide receivers and cornerbacks are obvious examples. This is the problem with DEI it views every outcome as a question of racism. It's like an unsolvable variable that: The outcome if not 50/50 then the variable that is causing a skewing of outcome is racism. Something can be predicated on race without being a question of racism. The NBA is 73.2 percent black players, that is not a racist bias though is it? journalofsportsmedicine.org/full-text/288/eng#:~:text=It%20has%20been%20shown%20that,their%20contractile%20and%20metabolic%20capacities. There is a difference in muscle fibres and skeletal structures between races. Most gold medal sprinters are from one part of Africa and most marathon winners come from another part. It is not shocking that different environments would create different evolutionary strengths depending on the needs of a particular environment. It also seems racist to point out today that when education and other factors are accounted for, that different nations and races have different IQ averages. worldpopulationreview.com/country-rankings/average-iq-by-countryMaybe in some places your physical prowess was a more important evolutionary marker than your intelligence. That is not to say any race is better than another, but it explains why most heart surgeons aren't black and it has nothing to do with racial bias.

I put them in the same category as people who want to wear a spaghetti colinder in their drivers license photo. How can it be then that schools are allowed to discuss matters such as abortion, transitioning and sexuality with kids without informing their parents? As a parent I am legally responsible for my children until the age of 18 and I cannot believe that these conversations could happen without me being told about it as a parent.

They get to talk about sexuality when parents pushed lawmakers to force schools to teach sex ed in light of the AIDs epidemic after it was found you can get AIDs from straight sex. It is not random teachers bringing up the topics, schools are mandated to teach the topics by the states. Same for teaching girls about periods in middle school. Parents who bitch about not being informed needs to read up on the laws as they been on the books in most states for 30+ years. Do not like it, change the laws. Many many deep red states, have this stuff on the books.
Trans kids are now parts of most schools so teachers are also expected to talk to about it to stop bullying. The only person that should discussing whether or not to transition is the certified school psychologist.
No one is teaching abortion on a systemic level. Focus is on disease prevention.

That's straight out not true, they aren't teaching sexuality as a function of health, they are teaching children that all choices around gender and sexuality and valid. It bothers me, I don't think we should be speaking to Primary School students about sexuality or gender at all. Why confuse something that will develop of its own in time. There is an agenda in some circles to promote queerness, it is not something that makes a great deal of sense. Transgenderism is correlated with very high rates of self-harm and suicide, these rates have not been affected by the promotion of the subject. All we have is increasing numbers of children identifying as trans or queer, so essentially we are increasing the rates of self harm and suicide attempts for no appreciable improvements in outcomes. Further to this we now have studies showing most kids identifying as trans are already disturbed, whether with autism or as childhoold victims of sexual assault. Last week I saw a lady who was pushed in to transitioning only to relaise later that what she thought was trans, was her childhood guilt about her homophobia. These stories are not isolated. Most Trans kids are Munchausen's by proxy.

Reviews of the research show that most people post transition see their quality of life greatly improve. Which is why we do it. If it did not work, we should not be suggesting chemical and surgical alterations.
Also all mediation and moderation studies show there is no direct causal path from being trans and being suicidal. Lack of support or bullying are where the greatest effect sizes are found. Which both come out to the same thing, abuse for something they cannot change. There is no causal link between prior mental illness and trans identification either when controlling for other factors.
And we have safeguards for this. General practice is at least 1 year of complaint social transitioning, as in appear all the time as the new gender, with only puberty blocks given in less than 5% of the cases. Surgery happens in less than 1% cases with most doctors outright refusing to do it on people under 18 in America, and the cases where it is done mostly involve leaving the US to do it. Intersex surgery will be done on minors who's parents wait and see what happens before assigning a gender, but not gender reassignment surgery in otherwise normal people in the vast majority of practices.
And we see the counterfactual. Conversion therapy is used to convince people they are not gay or trans. Suicide attempts skyrocket by 88% the Generations study found and many countries banned the practice calling it child abuse. If suicide rates and distress go down if we allow transitioning, and up if we stop it, then clearly one transitioning is helping people achieve a higher quality of life.
Sure those five or so people have awful stories they are gladly willing to tell for cash, but trans regret is seen in less than 1 percent of cases, which is why the media uses the same people all the time.
Science is not disputed for transitioning. It works for the vast majority of people with dysphoria. And all fighting it is doing is preventing routine ethical guidelines from being established that would limit the exact same things people want it to limit, like bottom surgery for minors or drugs before complaint social transitioning.
And even if we ban all this, these people will still exist, they will just DIY the transition like they did in the previous generation and get surgery in countries that allow it cosmetically. This is not new, it just came out of the shadows. It is better for them to transition under the care of a doctor, than do it themselves. And the genie is out of the bottle, DIY transitioning is well known about now. So long as they make birth control and testosterone supplement people will do it at home if you stop you from doing it at a gender clinic.

So long as they make birth control and testosterone supplement people will do it at home if you stop you from doing it at a gender clinic. edition.cnn.com/2023/06/28/health/transgender-suicide-risk/index.htmlThis is an interesting quote: "Recent studies in the US show that 82% of people who identify as transgender said they considered killing themselves, and 40% have attempted suicide, with the highest numbers of suicides among trans youth." Seems like being transgender is not associated in great mental health outcomes, yet we are evangelizing it as a valid lifestyle choice. People CANNOT change their gender, they can mutilate their bodies to try and match their mental picture, but the truth is that a man can never actually be a woman or the other way around. With the constant promotion of this transgender nonsense: www.nytimes.com/2022/06/10/science/transgender-teenagers-national-survey.htmlWe are now placing increasing numbers of children into situations where they will end up self harming or suicide. We are telling people they can change their gender, but they can't. It's a false promise that is leading to death.

That statistics does not separate from pre and post transition, that is lifetime. We find post transition the people who still want to kill themselves drops enough to justify the extremity of the treatment. Do nothing here, you will just see those high rates become unchangeable baselines as well. Try to convert the kids out of it, and they only increase from there. Sole way we found to treat dysphoria to allow transitions.
Gender is a social construct and it is easily changed. Biological sex cannot be changed. And that is what they want, to socially be the opposite gender. And many clearly can change completely socially as there are a lot of people no one realizes are trans until they come out.
And we talk a lot about all these kids exposed to this dangerous idea, but only 1-2% percent of kids identify as trans. If dysphoria was socially transmitted as many claim this number would be growing as trans awareness spread. But it is not, this is the range it has always been. Most of the rise in what people claim are trans kids are non-binary kids who just disagree with the concept of gender norms. These kids do not seek chemical or surgical interventions though, nor are considered dysphoric. They basically are like crossdressers of the older eras.

As it has been discussed so openly and wildly over the last few years, anyone living in reality acknowledges exactly what iNCY has just posted as the truth, or close to it. It is the general consensus. It is why serious conversations, observations and diagnosis need to be at the forefront of any decision making prior to affirmation or putting ideology before the mental health of a young person. In some ways and in many cases it is ignoring the real core issues, and potentially putting that person at even greater risk by remaining untreated for some very real mental health considerations.

Why does every major medical group disagree then?
The mental illness is well studied now as gender dysphoria, but many want to claim all mental health researchers are wrong, and pundits know the science better.
